Nagpur: Mayor Pravin Datke on Monday unveiled an oil portrait of Lokshahir Annabhau Sathe at NMC Headquarters on the occasion of his birth anniversary. At the outset, the Mayor lighted the traditional lamp and garlanded the portrait as his tributes to Lokshahir Annabhau Sathe.
Others present on the occasion include Chairman of Standing Committee Sudhir Raut, Ruling Party Leader Dayashankar Tiwari, Senior Corporator Jagdeesh Gwalvanshi, Additional Municipal Commissioner Ravindra Kumbhare, Assistant Commissioner Prakash Varade, Garden Superintendent Sudhir Mate, Public Relations Officer Ashok Kolhatkar, Vilas Fadnavis and others.
Similarly, the Mayor Datke, Sudhir Raut and Leader of Opposition Vikas Thakre paid their tributes to Lokshahir Annabhau Sathe by garlanding his statue situated near Deekshabhoomi Square. Former MLA Harish Morey, Corporator Zulfikar Bhutto, former Corporator Netaji Gajbhiye, Dharampal Meshram, Ashok Mendhe and a large number of citizens were present.
