Nagpur: Orange city will play host to a Mega Blood Donation Camp on September 22, 2024, at the Jeevan Jyoti Blood Bank, 8 Rasta Square, Laxmi Nagar. The event, organized in memory of Late HH Madhavrao Scindia by The Scindia School Old Boys’ Association, aims to encourage citizens to donate blood and help save lives.
The camp will commence at 10:00 AM, with donors given the chance to make a difference in someone’s life by contributing to this noble cause. In addition to the blood donation, participants will have the opportunity to attend an informative session by Dr. Amit Agrawal, MD, DM, a renowned gastroenterologist. His talk, titled “Diet, Alcohol, and Liver,” will be held from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, offering insights on maintaining liver health and preventing damage from alcohol and poor dietary habits.
This initiative seeks to bring together Nagpur’s community to support healthcare, honor the memory of a respected leader, and raise awareness about liver health.
