Nagpur: Expect thunder and hail in the city on Monday, followed by another wet spell on Tuesday, which should help bring down the day temperature to a little under 40C, reports Sarfaraz Ahmed.
The regional meteorology department forecasts thunderstorms, rain and hail in all of Vidarbha, except Bhandara and Gondia, which may be hit on April 26, as per the report.
Meanwhile, the maximum temperature shot to 40.6C in Nagpur on Sunday after overnight rain and thunder showers at isolated places.
Heatwave prevailed over Washim as the maximum temperature crossed 43C, 4 notches above normal. Another spell of unseasonal rains is unlikely to bring the heat down as maximum temperature is likely to remain between 40-42C.
