Singer Mika Singh who has been in several controversies earlier has now been detained in United Arab Emirates for alleged sexual misconduct. According to a report filed by ANI, Mika was detailed after a girl lodged a complaint against him for allegedly harassing her, a member of the singer’s team informed.
Reports suggest that Mika has been accused of sending inappropriate photos to a 17-year-old Brazilian girl. The victim filed the complaint in Muraqqabaat police station. The singer was reportedly arrested around 3 am from a bar in Bur Dubai and was later taken to Abu Dhabi jail.

Mika was in Dubai to perform at a Bollywood event. It has been reported that several friends of his have been trying to release the singer from jail.
In 2006, the controversial Rakhi Sawant filed a case against Mika for forcibly kissing her during her birthday celebrations in Mumbai. In 2014, Mika was charged in a hit-and-run case where he allegedly crashed into an auto rickshaw. In 2015, he was arrested for slapping a doctor at an event in Delhi.
A few days back, Mika took to his Instagram handle to shared a video from Dubai and captioned it, “Hey #Dubai.. I’m in your city and it’s the 1st time I’m here to attend the most popular awards the #masalaawards ..See you tonight!”.
Not just that, Mika also shared a picture with famous Hollywood singer Akon and wrote, “It was so lovely to meet @akon after so long.. as always ..he rocked the crowd with his super hit tracks…”
