Nagpur News : Nandanvan police has booked a 25-year-old youth for allegedly raping his minor girlfriend. The shocking incident came to light on Monday evening after the 17-year-old girl reported the matter. She claimed that the incident took place at accused’s room at Ramkrishna Nagar.
Accused identified as Aatish Thakre stays as a tenant at Ramkrishna Nagar.
As per statement to police, the minor told that Thakre has proposed her for marriage. On Monday, he took her to his room and forced her for physical relationship. She claimed that Thakre had physical closeness with her without her permission.

Police sources informed that the girl had earlier also alleged a gang rape on her at Sakkardara police station. However, after preliminary investigation, police came to know that the allegations are false. It later came to light that Thakre forced himself upon her without her consent.
