Nagpur News: The Rashtrasant Tukdoji Maharaj Nagpur University’s (RTMNU) Engineering Branch is notoriously famous for flawed valuation of answer papers. The flawed valuation caused untold suffering for Engineering students several times.
However, now, the Dean of Engineering Branch of RTMNU, has undertaken the project of preparing Model Answer-sheets to avoid flawed valuation of answer papers. The RTMNU is the first University in Maharashtra to prepare Model Answer-sheets for 3 out of 5 subjects of First and Second Semester. It may be recalled that the number of revaluations of Engineering answer papers has increased manifold since the past two years. Several students, too, have raised their objections on revaluations. The frequent revaluations clearly prove the disturbing fact that valuation itself was not done properly.

The Dean of Engineering Branch of RTMNU Ravindra Kshirsagar had called a meeting of all the Engineering Faculty Heads and had directed them to prepare Model Answer-sheets of various subjects. And, accordingly, Model Answer-sheets of 3 out of 5 subjects Physics, Chemistry, and Applied Mechanics were prepared. Applied Mechanics being the most hard subject, several students were being failed in the subject. However, since the Model Answer-sheet has been prepared for the subject it will help proper valuation of the subject. “Soon Model Answer-sheets would prepared for all subjects,” said Ravindra Kshirsagar
