Nagpur: A case has been registered in Ambazari police station against a moneylender Sagar Jayedrakumar Doshi (35), for allegedly cheating and harassing a retired man, Manoj Gopal Naidu (57), over a period of four years.
According to the complaint filed by Naidu, Doshi had lent him money online between March 2016 and October 2020, amounting to Rs 13 lakh. However, Doshi allegedly threatened to kill Naidu and his family, demanding an interest amount of Rs 12 lakh.
Naidu claimed that Doshi had forced him to mortgage his farm in Selu, Wardha, and his house in Dhantoli, Nagpur, and had also withdrawn Rs 10 lakh from his account.

The police have launched an investigation into the matter, and Doshi is yet to be arrested.
