Motorcyclist knocked dead by unidentified vehicle in Hingna

Nagpur: A 35-year old motorcyclist was knocked dead by an unidentified vehicle in Hingna area on Monday. The deceased has been identified as Sanjay Kailash Patle, resident of Daulamethi, 8th Mile, Amravati Road.

Sanjay was going on his motorcycle (MH-31/AK 8909) around 3.15 pm on Monday. As he neared Jamtha on Gumgaon Road, a speeding unidentified vehicle dashed against his bike with great impact. As a result, Sanjay crashed on the road and suffered critical injuries. He died on the spot.

Hingna Assistant PSI Kishore Butle, on the basis of a complaint lodged by Nivesh Jivanlal Turkar (25) of Durgdhmna, booked the unidentified vehicle driver under Sections 279, 304(A) of the IPC and searching for him.
