Nagpur: MSBSHSE SSC results 2016: Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education has released the results of SSC (Class 10) supplementary examination. The students who appeared for the examination can check the results online at the official website – mahresult.nic.in. The results will also be available on maharashtraeducation.com and results.nic.in.
The supplementary examination was held from July 18 to August 3, 2016.

This year, a total of 16,07,411 candidates had registered for the main exam that was held between March 1 and 29, 2016. About 16,01,406 students appeared out of which 14,34,943 students have cleared the exam.
Last year, when the Education Minister Vinod Tawd first announced that SSC and HSC supplementary exams would be done by July to ensure students do not miss out an academic year.
Following the announcement, the supplementary exams for SSC (Class 10) were taken in the month of July itself. However, owing to paucity of time for preparation, the decision could not be implemented for Class 12 and this is the first academic year when repeaters and students with ATKT got the opportunity to take re-exam in July-August.
The re-exam experiment proved successful for SSC students last year as 1.39 lakh students who appeared for the SSC re-exam in July last year, nearly 35,000 passed. It meant that students got a chance to secure admission to junior colleges in the same academic year.
