The customers of the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Co. Ltd can now pay additional security deposit through online mode. A link related to the information has been displayed at the official website of the MSEB.
According to sources, the MSEB has attached additional security deposit for its customers in the electricity bill for the month of April-May.
The company claims that this step has been taken due to direct orders by the Maharashtra Electricity Regulatory Commission. In the financial year of 2014, the MSEB will collect revenues from its customers through additional security deposit.
To make this procedure more accessible, the MSEB has launched an online payment mode for its customers. To solve customers grievances responsively, the MSEB has launched a toll-free number for its customers.
The call centre will resolve the customer queries by allotting them a unique customer number.
Earlier, the customers had to submit their complaints through visiting the MSEB electricity board offices.
With this unique reference number, the customers will get responsive feedback.
