Nagpur: The MSEDCL on Friday felicitated 67 Gunwant (meritorious) employees of Nagpur Urban Circle as part of Maharashtra Day and Labour Day celebration. The employees were distributed mementoes and certificates at the hands of Chief Engineer Prasad Reshme. Others who were present on the occasion include Superintending Engineers U B Shahare, R R Janabandhu, Executive Engineers A D Sahare, P M Kirnake, Deputy General Manager P P Khule, Assistant General Manager R S Deshmukh, Senior Manager Shankar Pahade, and Deputy Chief Industrial Liaison Officer Madhusudan Marathe.
Speaking after felicitation of the 67 Gunwant employees, the Chief Engineer Reshme extended his greetings to employees on the occasion of Labour Day and urged them to render excellent services to customers in future as well. Expressing his concern over accidents during electricity maintenance and repair works, Reshme said that precautionary measures should be taken while carrying out risky works. Tributes were paid to a lineman Ishwar Nimbarte who died accidentally while performing duty in Gondia recently.
