Nagpur: The newly commissioned Nagpur-Mumbai Samruddhi Mahamarg has emerged as a cause of concern. Accidents are being reported frequently. Now, to prevent mishap on this Expressway, the MSRDC authorities will detect black spots and alert the commuters about the same.
Not even a fortnight has passed since the inauguration of the Nagpur to Shirdi Samruddhi Mahamarg, but the series of accidents continues every day. More than 30 major and minor accidents have taken place within a fortnight. Reports said that the Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC) has become more alert and is preparing to check dangerous turns and black spots to prevent these accidents.

In order to reduce the number of accidents on this route, warning boards have already been installed where there are dangerous curves. But still, as accidents happen, the causes would be found to prevent accidents.
