Mumbai– A 25-year-old fashion merchandising student, SS Ghatol, was arrested at Mumbai airport on Thursday while attempting to board a flight to Singapore for an internship.
Immigration officials discovered that four pages were missing from her passport, leading to her detention.

According to police, Ghatol had removed the pages to conceal a previous trip to Thailand, which she had hidden from her institute by falsely claiming illness to avoid an exam.
The student faces charges of cheating and violating the Passport Act for tampering with her travel documents.
