Nagpur: Crime Branch sleuths, acting on a tip-off, nabbed a man from Mumbai and seized 55 gram cocaine worth Rs 3.30 lakh from his possession.
The Crime Branch had received information on Friday that the accused Parag Narayan Sanasi (44), a native of Mumbai had arrived in Nagpur and was planning to go to a destination in MP from bus stand. Acting on the information, the sleuths laid a trap at MP Bus Stand and detained the accused as per description provided by the informant. Upon frisking, the cops found Parag in possession of high-grade cocaine worth Rs 3.30 lakh. The heady stuff was seized and the accused was placed under arrest.
The arrested accused has been booked under Section 21(B) of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985.
