Nagpur: The State Election Commission (SEC) has announced a competition ‘My Ganeshotsav My Vote’ to create awareness about exercising one’s franchise.
Along with this competition, through the Sarvajanik Ganeshotsav Mandals, the addition of Aadhaar card number to the voter ID card, voter registration, deletion of names, corrections in details, the four qualifying dates for voter registration as per the new amendment, 1st January, 1st April, 1st July and 1st October, should be disseminated and propagated and more citizens should be informed.

District Collector and District Election Officer have appealed to Sarvajanik Mandals to participate in this activity. For the contest ‘Maja Ganeshotsav Maja Matadhikar’, photos and audio files are to be sent. In order to participate in the competition, the contestants should fill and send the information on the Google application https://forms.gle/ 6jifuUA4YSRZ6AU7 between August 31 and September 9. Also the competition rules can be read on the official website of the Chief Electoral Officer https://cco.maharashtra.gov.in. The best contestants in the competition will be awarded cash prizes.
