Hudkeshwar police were groping in the dark as no breakthrough has been reached in the sensational murder of a local builder Sheetal Raut. The cops have been trying to establish the leads however they could not succeed in getting any, even a day after the brutal killing in broad day light. The incident took place Monday evening near Rajapeth bus stop in Hudkeshwar.
Meanwhile, police have been summoning local goons to trying to extract information from them. Raut, a resident of Dubey Nagar was murdered by some unidentified assailants who inflicted grievous injuries on him by sharp edged weapons. The accused fled the scene soon after committing the crime. Raut was declared dead upon being brought at the hospital.

Sources revealed that Raut got a phone call while he was busy with some household work. As soon as he reached near the pan shop, 3-4 assailants pounced on him repeated attacked him with knives.
Police have registered the case and trying to sort out the reasons behind killing Raut.
