Nagpur all set to host Fourth India – England Test,ticket sales start 9 Dec.

Nagpur Sports News : Nagpurians will be witnessing interesting battle, rather series decider match of ‘Airtel Series’ to be played between India & England from 13th to 17th Dec’12 at VCA Stadium, Jamtha.

The 45000 capacity VCA Jamtha Stadium built on the Nagpur – Hyderabad National Highway will be the venue for the 4th International Test Match and the Fourteenth Test match overall at Nagpur.

A Spacious, well-furnished, Air-Conditioned dressing rooms, with facility of modern gymnasium with fine interiors provide an ideal ambience to the players arena.

An air-conditioned well-furnished Media Box is also an added facility at this stadium with a Media Center and Separate room for photographers at the ground itself with Wi-Fi facilities.

Twelve wide gates around the stadium with an adequate identified entries makes the spectators movement a comfortable experience. Numbered seating arrangements with well-planned food stalls in the wings for supply of snacks, soft drinks, eatables and drinking water provide spectators the necessary comforts. Free Water Pouches during the match will relieve the spectators in quenching their thirst.

 

Parking of Vehicles:

Adequate Free Parking facilities for parking of vehicles for spectators have been made near the stadium.

TICKET SALES:
The sale of tickets for the Match is entrusted with the Bank of Maharashtra through its various branches in Nagpur i.e. Narendra Nagar, Sitabuldi, Itwari, Dharampeth along with outstation branches in Vidarbha viz. Chandrapur, Amravati (Main Branch), Wardha & Gondia.

Priority Ticket Sales for the VCA Life Members and Privilege Members of VCA Recreation Club, Jamtha will commence from 6th to 8th Dec’12 at Bank of Maharashtra’s Counter at VCA, Civil Lines during the Business Hours i.e. from         10.30 am. Sale of tickets for general public will commence from 9th Dec’12 onwards in various branches as given above.  Members will get one complimentary ticket. Members Air conditioned box is under maintenance.  Hence, tickets of the same will not be available.

FREE ENTRY FOR SCHOOL STUDENTS:

Necessary arrangements for free entry to students of various schools of the city, alongwith their teaching staff, has been arranged to witness the match. Various schools have been contacted and they have shown their willingness to send the students by their school buses. Free snacks along with water pouches will be given to them. Students in their school uniform will only be permitted and advised to follow security guidelines.

SECURITY ARRANGEMENTS:

A special security arrangement in co-ordination with the concerned Police Authorities for necessary bandobust in and around the new stadium has been worked out. The volunteers of the Hanuman Vyayam Prasarak Mandal will control the gates during the match.
