Nagpur Braces for Heavy Rainfall: Orange Alert Issued for Vidarbha and Surrounding Districts

Nagpur:The Meteorological Department has issued a heavy rainfall warning across the state for the next five days, with Nagpur and the Vidarbha region under an ‘Orange Alert.’ Citizens are advised to remain vigilant from today until August 5. The alert includes intense rain forecasts for Mumbai, Konkan, and western Maharashtra.

**Orange Alert for These Districts in Vidarbha:**
In Vidarbha, Chandrapur, Gadchiroli, and Gondia districts have been issued an orange alert for heavy rainfall. Additionally, a yellow alert has been issued for Mumbai, Thane, Sindhudurg, Yavatmal, Nagpur, Wardha, and Bhandara districts.

Furthermore, an orange alert is in place for Raigad and Ratnagiri districts in the Konkan region. In western Maharashtra, Pune, Satara, and Kolhapur districts have also been issued an orange alert for heavy rain.
