Nagpur: In an audacious act, some unidentified burglar absconded with mobile phone, cash and gold ornaments to the tune of Rs 1,32,500 in broad daylight from a house, under the jurisdiction of MIDC police on Sunday.
It is learnt that, accompanied with his wife complainant Dinesh Tayde (52), resident of Plot. No. 20 B, Sahkar layout, Mahajanwadi, Wanadongri was elsewhere for shopping on Sunday afternoon. In the meantime an anonymous miscreants broke in his house by smashing latch of the main door and flee with mobile phone, cash and gold ornaments.

However when he returned to his residence around 2 pm and discovered the theft. Subsequently he rushed to MIDC police station.
MIDC police station has registered a case under section 454,380 of The Indian Penal Code. Further details are awaited.
