Nagpur: The International Yoga Day is celebrated worldwide on 21st June. This day has been celebrated with great enthusiasm since 2015. Yoga, known as “India’s gift,” was proposed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 27th September 2014 at the United Nations General Assembly. His proposal was eventually accepted.
On the occasion of International Yoga Day, a program was organized at the Yashwant Stadium in Dhantoli, Nagpur, in the presence of Union Minister Shri Nitin Gadkari and Maharashtra BJP’s State President Shri Chandrashekhar Bawankule.
Extending his heartfelt wishes on this occasion, Shri Gadkari said, “Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, we are celebrating Yoga Day today, as per the spirit of ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam,’ which means the world is one family.”
