Nagpur: A complaint has been lodged at the Beltarodi Police Station in Nagpur against individuals spreading false narratives regarding government jobs and exams on social media platforms. The complaint targets accounts on the platform X (formerly known as Twitter) and a Facebook account named MPSC Samnvay Samiti.
The false information being spread is causing confusion among the general public, particularly affecting the youth and students. Advocate Gajanan Mohite, residing at 11 Kachore Layout, Manish Nagar, has filed the complaint.
In his complaint, Mohite stated that this misinformation is creating confusion and distress among students and the general public. It is causing inconvenience and could potentially disturb the peace in the state. The complaint alleges that the actions are illegal and intended to create chaos.
Mohite has emphasized the need to investigate the individuals involved in spreading these false narratives and their motives. The complaint highlights violations of the Indian Penal Code and urges action under Section 66A of the Information Technology Act against the perpetrators.
