Nagpur: A Congress delegation led by MLA Vikas Thakre and Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) General Secretary Vishal Muttemwar met District Collector Dr. Vipin Itankar to demand a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to investigate the stampede incident at Suresh Bhat hall in Nagpur on Saturday.
The Congress delegation demanded that culprits including officials, private contractors, and BJP officials should be booked for the death of the woman.

It is pertinent to mention that a middle-aged woman was killed in the alleged stampede incident that occurred at the Kamgar Kalyan Event organized at Suresh Bhat hall. It was stated that the event was organized by the BJP, and lack of management led to the death of the woman.
