Nagpur: After months, not a single new patient of COVID-19 was reported in Nagpur Division on Monday, revealed the data shared by the administration.
As per the data shared by the administration, none of the six districts in Nagpur Division — Nagpur, Wardha, Bhandara, Gondia, Chandrapur and Gadchiroli — reported new cases of COVID-19 on Monday. As far as Nagpur district is concerned, it also saw no new case reported on Monday. So far, Nagpur district has recorded a total of 5,87,325 cases including 4,05,798 from Nagpur city and 1,71,531 from rural areas, and 9,996 from outside the district.
The Nagpur district has recorded 10,358 deaths including 6,061 from Nagpur city, 2,628 from rural areas, and 1,669 from outside the district. The district reported one recovery on Monday. It was in Nagpur city. At present, there are a total 81 active cases in Nagpur district including 42 in the city and 38 in rural areas. The recovery rate of Nagpur district stood at 98.11%.
As per the report shared by the administration on Monday, the district reported total 211 tests including 112 in Nagpur city and 99 in rural areas. The news of no new case reported on Monday in the entire Nagpur Division comes as a respite for common people. Though there are concerns over new sub-variant in Maharashtra, experts have said that COVID-19 has entered the endemic phase at national level.
