Nagpur: Voting for the Maharashtra Assembly elections began across the state, including Nagpur. However, reports of glitches in Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) at several polling stations in Central Nagpur constituency caused inconvenience to voters.
At the polling booth in Sant Kabir Primary School, the EVM malfunctioned and remained non-operational for nearly an hour, delaying the voting process. Similarly, at the Mahatma Phule School polling center in the Naik Talab complex, voting started an hour late as the EVM failed to function initially.
These technical issues led to delays and frustration among voters. However, election officials promptly addressed the problems by repairing the faulty machines, ensuring that the voting process resumed smoothly thereafter.
