Nagpur: A recovery agent of IDFC First Bank was reportedly attacked with rod here under Sakkardhara Police Station on Thursday.
Based on the complaint filed by Shehzad Sheikh wald Abdul Saleem Sheikh (23), a resident of Aadarsh Nagar, Umred Road, Motha Tajbagh, Sakkardhara Police have booked the accused identified as Abdul Shahid Sheikh (25), a resident of Sartaj Colony, Motha Tajbagh under Sections 325,294,506(B) of the IPC.

According to police sources, Abdul had borrowed loan from IDFC First Bank however failed to pay instalment. Owing to which, Shehzad, who works as a recovery agent with IDFC Bank approached Abdul seeking instalment money on Thursday. However, Abdul picked up quarrel with the complainant and started hurling abuses at him. When Shehzad objected, the accused then picked up a rod and started attacking Shehzad.
