The Nagpur district administration would be visiting 2,360 eligible voters in Nagpur and Ramtek Lok Saha constituencies from April 14 to 17 enabling them to participate in the electoral process through postal ballots from the comfort of their homes.

In Nagpur constituency, 1,341 voters, including 1,204 senior citizens above 85 years and 137 disabled individuals, have opted for home voting. In Ramtek, total 1,019 voters including 889 voters above 85 years and 130 disabled individuals have preferred to vote from home.

The ECI has established 160 teams for Nagpur and 105 teams for Ramtek seats to oversee the process.

Home voting serves as an accessible alternative for individuals facing mobility challenges or advanced age. It ensures that every eligible voter can participate in the electoral process, aligning with democratic principles of inclusivity and representation.
