Nagpur: Shyamnarayan Pandey, fondly known as Shyamji, the co-owner of the famous ‘Ramji Shyamji Pohewale,’ passed away from a heart attack in the early hours of Friday. He was 45 years old.
Shyamji suffered a heart attack around 3:30 a.m., according to family members. Despite being rushed to the hospital, doctors declared him dead shortly after examining him.
Shyamji, along with his family, was renowned for serving Nagpur’s much-loved Tarri-Poha on Wardha Road. ‘Ramji Shyamji Pohewale’ has been a beloved in the city, holding a special place in the hearts of food lovers across Nagpur.
As news of Shyamji’s passing spread, many in Nagpur’s close-knit community of food enthusiasts expressed their sorrow and extended their heartfelt condolences to the Pandey family during this difficult time.
