Nagpur: The members of Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee (Nagpur District) sat on an agitation near the statue of Mahatma Gandhi in Variety Square against all the corruption of BJP led Central Government, State Government and in Nagpur Municipal Corporation that has come to fore. The agitation of Congress leaders and office-bearers was led by City Chief of Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee, Vikas Thakre and they sat on agitation from 3pm to 6pm.
The office-bearers of Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee included Former Cabinet Minister and Member of Executive Body of All India Congress Committee Vilas Muttemwar, Former Minister Dr Satishbabu Chaturvedi, Former Minister Dr. Nitin Raut, Former President of MPCC Sheikh Hussein, City President of MPCC Vikas Thakre, General Secretary of Nagpur City Congress Committee Dr Gajraj Hatewar, Umakant Agnihotri, President of Sewa Dal Ramgovind Khobragade, President of Women Congress Pragya Badvaik, Jayant Lute, Vijay Babhre, President of Youth Congress Bunty Shelke and President of NSUI Aman Noori.
The introductory speech was given by City President of MPCC Vikas Thakre while General Secretary of Nagpur City Congress Committee Dr Gajraj Hatewar compered the programme.
