Nagpur: The active Covid cases in Nagpur district recorded a further fall on Thursday.The single-day cases on the day was only one. With this, the active cases have gone below 20. With four persons becoming free from coronavirus the recovery reached 5,67,371. Recovery rate remained stable at 98.21%.
Number of single-day cases has been fluctuating. On Thursday, it was reduced to one taking the cumulative positive cases to 5,77,728. The only case that the district reported was found in the city. On the fourth consecutive day, no person was found being treated in hospital due to coronavirus.

The daily Covid-19 testing has gone down to 1,482. Nagpur rural has registered 472 testing while the city has reported 1,010 testing. With these the cumulative testing reached 53,75,898.
The samples examined through RT PCR were 1,265 while 217 were through Rapid Antigen Test. Details of daily testing done at various laboratories include Indira Gandhi Government Medical College and Hospital (IGGMCH) (6), Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) (7), All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) (11), National Environmental Engineering Research Institute (NEERI) (0).
