Nagpur: After almost two months, Nagpur district has registered new Covid-19 cases in single digit. In December last week, the district had witnessed same scenario. On Monday, eight people tested positive for coronavirus in the district. Of those, one person is from outside district.
Nagpur rural reported only three cases while four were found infected with the virus in the city. With these, the cumulative positive cases reached 5,77,633. Of the cumulative cases, 9,944 people are not residents of the district.

No death was reported in Nagpur district in a day. This has happened for the fourth day in a row now. In the first 7 days of March, only 2 patients died of Covid in the region. Total death toll is 21,768. Now, Nagpur has 130 patients under treatment with 86 of them from Nagpur city (NMC). Nagpur’s overall test positivity is constantly under 1% in March.
