Nagpur: City got a respite from scorching heat on Monday as the temperature dropped significantly by 6 degree Celsius. The weather was cloudy since Sunday night, while some parts of the city experienced slight showers.
On Monday, the sky was cloudy and the temperature recorded was 39.4 degree Celsius, much to the relief of Nagpurians.
Interestingly, two days ago, the city had recorded the highest temperature of the season with mercury zooming to 47.1 degree Celsius.
However, on Monday, the city along-with other districts of Vidarbha experienced low temperatures.
The temperatures recorded in other districts of Vidarbha areas follows: Akola (41.7 degree), Amravati (40.6 degree), Buldhana (39 degree), Washim (40 degree) and Wardha (38.8 degree).
