Nagpur Round Table 83 Successfully Conducts 38th Annual General Meeting in Goa

Goa/Nagpur: The Nagpur Round Table 83 (NRT 83) recently convened its 38th Annual General Meeting (AGM) in the scenic locale of Goa, marking a significant milestone in the organization’s history. The entire NRT 83 team, along with their families, flew from Nagpur to Goa on the 25th of July specifically for this grand occasion and returned on the eve of the 28th of July. The AGM was also attended by various members of Nagpur Ladies Circle 50, including Chairperson Megha Agrawal, Treasurer Shipra Gugaliya, Aanchal Arora, Aanchal Agrawal, and Sanchi Agrawal, Mridu Surjan Taori adding to the significance of the event.

The AGM witnessed a seamless transition of leadership as Rahul Gugaliya, the Outgoing Chairman, was honored for his exemplary service and will now serve as the Immediate Past Chairman. Prateek Minocha, previously the Vice-Chairman, has taken over the reins as the New Chairman. Shivagya Arora, the Outgoing Treasurer, has been appointed as the Vice-Chairman, while Vedant Agrawal, the Outgoing Secretary, was commended for his diligent work. Sawrabh Taori has been introduced as the Incoming Secretary, and Rahul Poddar is the New Treasurer, ready to steer the financial strategies of NRT 83.

The AGM commenced with the presentation of the annual report by Outgoing Secretary Vedant Agrawal, which received widespread appreciation. A detailed discussion led to the approval of the Admin and Trust accounts, presented by the Outgoing Treasurer Shivagya Arora. The New Treasurer, Rahul Poddar, successfully secured approval for the proposed budget for TY24-25.

A highlight of the event was the induction of Pranav Bang as a new member, conducted through a well-designed induction ceremony that underscored the values and mission of NRT 83. The retirement ceremony for Manohar Wadhwani, Rahul Agarwala, Sahil Jain, and Vikrant Thapar was a poignant affair. These esteemed members were honored with unique retirement plaques and mementos, celebrating their long-standing service to NRT 83 and Round Table India. The ceremony was filled with nostalgia and heartfelt emotions as members reminisced about their contributions.

Ajay Chandwani’s sergeanting act was a showstopper, filling the ballroom with laughter and joy. The Outgoing Chairman, Rahul Gugaliya, presented several awards to commend exceptional contributions. Pratik Munot received the Invisible Hero Award, Shivagya Arora was honored with the Icon of Dedication Award, and Ajay Chandwani was recognized with the Idea Powerhouse Award. Other notable awards included the Media Maestro Award for Sawrabh Taori, the Rising Force Award for Shishank Agrawal, the Induction Excellence Award for Vedant Agrawal, the Mentorship & Guidance Award for Sahil Jain, and the Lifetime Achievement Award for Rahul Agarwala.

Rahul Gugaliya’s farewell speech was a deeply emotional moment, filled with gratitude and individual acknowledgments of the team’s efforts. He expressed heartfelt thanks to Ajay Chandwani and Saurabh Agrawal for their remarkable support in planning and executing NRT 83’s first outstation AGM. Special thanks were also extended to Area Observer Dr. Gaurav Tripathi, who traveled from Bilaspur to attend the event. The New Chairman, Prateek Minocha, shared his vision for the upcoming year and introduced the new conveners and Honorary Tablers, urging for continued support from all members.

The AGM concluded with a grand celebration featuring music and delectable food, fostering a sense of camaraderie and excitement for the year ahead.
