Nagpur: In a development that would shame Nagpur city, a 34-year-old man was taken into custody by Gittikhadan Police for sexually exploiting his two daughters, aged 12 and 10 years, for the last few months. The daughters were born from the second wife of the man.
The man, who earned livelihood as labourer and temporary worker at hotels, would force himself upon the daughters after his wife would go to sleep. The man’s elder daughter brought the matter to mother’s notice in April after she sustained minor injuries due to the forceful intercourse.

The man was grilled by the family over the issue but he sought forgiveness then. Apart from the elder daughter, the man later started making undue advances towards his younger daughter too. The accused once again made advances towards his two daughters last week which prompted the mother to approach the police.
The woman wanted police to counsel and warn the man but he was promptly placed behind the bars under the provisions of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (PoCSO) Act.
