Nagpur shivers at 9.4 degrees Celsius

Nagpur: The cold wave literally brought chills to the spine of Nagpurians as the Second Capital of the State on Monday, registered its coldest day of this winter season.

At 9.4 degrees Celsius, Nagpur for the first time witnessed the temperature drop below 10 degrees Celsius in this season, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) said.

According to the IMD, Nagpur recorded a minimum temperature of 9.4 degrees Celsius, Akola 10.8 degrees Celsius, and Gondia 10.5 degrees Celsius. The minimum temperature in Pune was 9.6 degrees Celsius, in Nashik 9.2 degrees Celsius, and in Malegaon 9.6 degrees Celsius the IMD said.
