Nagpur: In a minor IAS reshuffle, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Nagpur Smart City Chinmay Gotmare has been transferred to Gondia as District Collector. Three IAS officers were transferred on Thursday, including Gotmare.
Gotmare will replace Gondia District Collector Narayan Arjun Gunde, who has been shifted to Nashik as Tribal Commissioner. The Tribal Commissioner of Nashik H S Sonwane has been transferred to Mumbai as Dairy Development Commissioner.
Chinmay Gotamre, originally hailing from Kalmeshwar Tehsil in Nagpur district, was appointed as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Nagpur Smart and Sustainable City Development Corporation Limited (NSSCDC) in April 2022. Gotmare has completed his entire education in Nagpur.
Gotmare, a 2009 batch officer of Assam-Meghalaya IAS cadre, had also worked as Deputy Director General in Yashwantrao Chavan Academy of Development Administration (YASHADA), Pune.
