Nagpur: A teacher has been arrested by the Sadar Police for misconduct involving 9th and 10th-grade students. The accused has been identified as Sankalp Virendra Medha (47), a resident of Medha Bhavan, 35 Central Road, Nagpur.
According to reports, the teacher had been mentally and physically harassing students, including using abusive language, throwing water bottles and dusters at them, and threatening them. After complaints from the students, a three-member committee was formed by the school to investigate the matter, and Medha was found guilty. Following a complaint from SMS High School Professor Samuel Caravalia, the police have registered a case and arrested the teacher, with further investigation underway.
