Nagpur trader duped of Rs 15 lakh in auto parts deal

Nagpur: Sitabuldi Police of Nagpur booked three persons, including director of Pixxel Appliances & Infosystems, for allegedly defrauding the owner of Shree Shakti Automobiles of over Rs 15 lakh by not supplying the e-Scooters spares and batteries to him.

Viplab Chandrashekhar Tripathi (45), owner of Shree Shakti Automobiles, and dealer of Pixxel Appliances & Infosystems, Jaipur, Rajasthan,had placed an order with the company for supply of 12 bodies of the e-vehicles and batteries. Between 2022 and June 30, 2024, he transferred Rs 15 lakh to the account of company’s agent Bhavesh Diwakar (35), a resident of Jaipur, Rajasthan.

However, the company Director Raja Ajmani, Bhavesh Diwakar and one mediator Nihal Tiwari neither delivered the goods nor returned the money to Viplab Tripathi. Following Tripathi’s complaint,police registered a case under Sections 420, 406, 34 of the Indian Penal Code against Ajmani, Diwakar and Tiwari. Further investigations are underway.
