Nagpur: WeDreamCrafterz Hosts Inter-School Drawing Competition on Gandhi Jayanti

Nagpur: In celebration of Gandhi Jayanti, WeDreamCrafterz, an organization founded by Syed Nusrat Arshad and co-founded by Sarah Kulsum, hosted an impressive inter-school drawing competition. The event took place at Malabar Gold, the venue sponsor, with participation from students representing 33 schools across Nagpur. The competition highlighted the artistic talents of young students, making the national holiday even more special.

The competition was divided into two categories. In Category 1, which featured students from 1st to 4th grades, Ovi Padolkar from Tejaswini Vidya Mandir clinched 1st place. Hansika Padole from S Bhavan’s Bhagvandas Purohit Vidya Mandir Trimurti Nagar Nagpur secured 2nd place, while Twesha Khombade from Rambhau Mahalgi Nagar NMC English Medium School finished 3rd.

Category 2, comprising students from 5th to 8th grades, saw Zobiya Yusuf from St. Ursula Girls High School taking the top spot. Sharvari K. Thul from Asiatic School earned 2nd place, and Ayaan Khan from Bishop Cotton School took 3rd place. A special consolation prize was awarded to Gargi Menghare from Narayana Vidyalayam for her remarkable effort.

The competition was graced by special guests Tarranum Quazi, Principal of Asiatic School, as well as Yusuf Un Nabi Khan and Shaesta Khan, founder of Ayzal Foundation. The judging panel included Swati Tupkari and Waleela Parveen, both highly regarded for their expertise in the field of art.

Adding to the celebration, guests Nameera Khan, Priyanka, and Ms. Sabreen delighted the students by distributing delicious treats, ensuring the event was not only a platform for creativity but also a joyful experience for all.

With its vibrant atmosphere and display of youthful talent, the WeDreamCrafterz drawing competition turned Gandhi Jayanti into a day to remember for the students, organizers, and attendees alike.
