Nagpur: A 40-year-old woman, Arti Tiwari, died on Saturday after succumbing to injuries sustained in an attack by her husband, Ramesh Tiwari. Ramesh, who is suspected of planning and executing the attack, is currently on the run.
Investigations revealed that Arti had attempted suicide just a week ago by consuming poison, allegedly due to harassment by her husband over his doubts about her character. The couple’s marital disputes had also been reported to the police.
