Nagpur: Dr Vinod Asudani has been nominated as a member of the Language Advisory Board for Sindhi language of Central Sahitya Akademi New Delhi for the period of 5 years. This honour has come to Dr Asudani for his long service to the cause of Sindhi Literature.
He has authored 18 books in Sindhi, Hindi and English languages. Besides, with the objective of bringing Sindhi Literature to the world audiences, he has translated 18 prominent Sindhi books into English.

It is worth mentioning here that he has been nominated on the Advisory Board of Sahitya Akademi for the second time. Earlier he served his position from 2013-2017. Dr Asudani works as an Associate Professor in the Department of Humanities in Shri Ramdeobaba College of Engineering and Management, Nagpur.
