Nagpur: As the monsoon season begins, the deteriorating condition of Nagpur’s Morbhavan bus stand has become evident. The accumulation of water has led to muddy conditions throughout the station. ‘Nagpur Today’ highlighted the deplorable state of the bus stand and engaged with local citizens on the issue.
Located in the central Sitabardi area, the ST bus stand sees a high volume of passengers and students. However, the lack of proper drainage for rainwater results in persistent waterlogging at the station. This issue recurs every monsoon, yet the local administration has neglected to address it.
Water fills the small and large potholes, creating puddles and spreading mud throughout the station’s vicinity. Consequently, passengers face considerable inconvenience. The pervasive mud at the bus stand makes it challenging for commuters and residents alike.
Passengers have urged the authorities to implement prompt solutions to resolve this ongoing problem.
