Nagpur: In an inspiring display of talent and determination, Supriya Masram and her 11-year-old son Shivansh, residents of Nagpur, have secured their places in the India and Asia Records Books. The duo achieved this milestone by simultaneously reaching their respective goals ahead of schedule, setting new records in the process.
As part of the Amrit Mahotsav celebrations of the Indian Constitution, Supriya Masram recited 75 articles of the Constitution. The allotted time for this feat was ten minutes, but Supriya completed it in just 6 minutes and 21 seconds, flawlessly reciting each verse in front of an audience. The event was organized at the Chitnis Centre, Civil Lines, Nagpur.
Meanwhile, Shivansh, a Class V student at Bhavan’s School, achieved his own record by reading the underlined words in 100 pages of a science book in just 8 minutes and 5 seconds– without looking. To further demonstrate his skill, Shivansh confidently recited the page numbers from one to one hundred, both forwards and backwards. He also expressed his aspiration to become an IAS officer.
The mother and son were felicitated by former MP Ashok Nete. The event also honoured Dr. Uday Bodhankar, Rajeev Bhusari, and Prof. Dr. Shriram Sonawane, Convener of the India and Asia Book of Records. Supriya’s mentor, Vaishali Kodhe, and Shivansh’s mentor, Gauri Kodhe, were also recognized with medals, citations, gifts, and bouquets.
Shivansh’s father, Kumar Masram, was present on the dais during the event, which was moderated by Radio Jockey Farhan. All attendees were presented with a commemorative gift of the Indian Constitution. As soon as the records were announced, the duo received congratulations from Kishore Bagde, Dr. Praveen Manvatkar, Ajay Sontakke, Satish Meshram, Godbole, Dr. Sanjay Jaiswal, Anand Sharma, and many others.
