Nagpur’s Shri Santi Ganeshotsav Mandal to decorate with replica of Vrindavan’s Banke Bihari Mandir

Nagpur: Shri Santi Ganeshotsav and Sanskrutik Mandal of Nagpur, established in 1958, is celebrating the 10-day Ganesh festival with beautiful decoration of exact replica of Shri Banke Bihari Temple of Vrindavan in Uttar Pradesh. The Mandal is situated at Santi Road, near Itwari High School, Darodkar Square, Central Avenue in the city.

In the past 15 years, the Mandal has made its name in celebrating Ganeshotsav in traditional fervour and gaiety. It has become a pride of place not only in Nagpur but in the entire Vidarbha. In the past, Shri Santi Ganeshotsav and Sanskrutik Mandal decorated its pandal with the replicas of Shegaon’s Gajanan Maharaj Mandir, display of Jang Azadiki (based on 1857 battle), Shirdi’s Sai Baba Mandir, Pandharpur’s Vitthal Rukmini Mandir, Tirupati Balaji Mandir, Kolhapur’s Mahalaxmi Mandir, Shri Swami Samarth Maharaj Mandir, Akkalkot, Adya Jyotirling Mandir, Tryambakeshwar, Tuljabhawani Mandir, Tuljapur, Saptashrungi Devi Mandir, Nashik, Shri Khandoba Mandir, Jejuri, Shri Shripad Vallabh Mandir, Pithapuram, Shri Yogeshwari Devi Mandir, Ambejogai, Mahakaleshwar Mandir, Ujjain, Sharda Devi Mandir, Maihar, Ashtavinayak Mandir Darshan etc.

Every year around three lakh devotees visit the 10-day Ganeshotsav at Shri Santi Ganeshotsav and Sanskrutik Mandal which organises various religious, social, educational and charitable events round the year.
