The Indian Solidarity Council in association with International Institute of Education and Management & International Business Council had organized a Seminar at Indian Society of International Law, First Floor Auditorium, Krishna Menon Bhawan opposite Supreme Court of India in New Delhi on May 28.
Dr. Manohar Roy a social worker of Nagpur, was awarded the prestigious Mother Teresa Sadbhavana Award for his contributions in the field of social work. The award was presented to Dr. Roy by the former Governor of Assam and Tamil Nadu Dr. Bhisma Narayan Singh and Sardar Joginder Singh, former Director of Central Bureau of Investigation in the presence of the International Business Council chief Dr. N.S.N Babu and a host of other dignitaries.
Earlier in 2012, on September 15, Dr Manohar Roy was awarded the Honorary Degree of Doctor of Sociology (Honoris Causa) at a seminar held on “Establishing Global Peace” by the Academy of Global Universal Peace (Delaware, USA). This academy is accredited by United Nations as INTERNATIONAL ORGANISATION, United Nations Global Compact as Global Organization, UNITED NATIONS ACADEMIC IMPACT, European Commission as International Academy International Blue cross (UK), Power Ministries International (USA), World Peace Organization (USA). The degree was presented to Dr Roy by Dr. R.D. Lawrence the Director of Academics at Academy of Global Universal Peace in the presence of host of international dignitaries
