Nagpur: In a heart-wrenching incident on Sunday evening, a four-year-old boy, identified as Sizan Sheikh from Mankapur, lost his life in front of the Bishop Cotton School ground under Sadar police station limits. The unfortunate incident unfolded around 8.30 pm when a cylinder, typically used for inflating balloons, exploded.
Sizan, innocently accompanying a relative on a shopping outing, was standing near a balloon seller when the forceful blast occurred. The explosion propelled the cylinder into the air, tragically landing on Sizan’s head, causing critical injuries.
Two women, identified as Aariya and Anmata, also sustained injuries in the incident. Swiftly, all three were rushed to Mayo Hospital, where the young boy was, unfortunately, declared dead. The Sadar police are investigating the case to determine the circumstances leading to this devastating event.
