NEET-2018 notification likely to come this week

Nagpur: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is expected to issue an notification for (NEET-UG) 2018. In 2017 the exams were held on 7 May and this year also it is expected that examinations will be held in the first week of May. For Admission to MBBS and BDS in Medical college CBSE NEET UG has been made compulsory from 2016. Only AIIMS and JIPMER arrange their own erxams. In other medical colleges on the basis of NEET score the admissions are done. Since last year CBSE has made Aadhar card compulsory for registration. But this not applicable in Kashmir, Assam and Meghalaya. NRIs have to give their passport number in place of Aadhar

It may be known that from last year giovernment had but two condition. According to the first condition the candidate will be able to apper only thrice for NEET exam. The candidate who had appeared in 2017and have failed can try two more times. Besides this maximum age limit is 25 years. After a lot of protests and appeals in the Supreme court this notice has been rejected and so this condition will not apply in 2018 but no update has come in this regard.
