Nehru Nagar Zone in Nagpur to Experience Water Supply Disruption due to Scheduled Tank Cleaning

Nagpur: In a concerted effort to provide Nagpur residents with high-quality potable water, the Nagpur Municipal Corporation-Orange City Water (NMC-OCW) has announced the scheduled cleaning of the Nehru Nagar Zone.

During the tank cleaning process, the water supply in the following areas will be adversely affected:

(A) Monday, January 15, 2024 – NANDANVAN [Old] ESR:
Nandanvan layout, Kawelu quarters, LIG, MIG, Venkatesh Nagar, Keerti Nagar, New Nandanvan Colony, Nandanvan Slum, Rajendra Nagar.

(B) Tuesday, January 16, 2024 – NANDANVAN [New] ESR:
Srikrishna Nagar, Shesh Nagar, Sankalp Nagar, Gopalkrishna Nagar, Vidya Nagar, Santaji Nagar, Saraswathy Nagar, Darshan Colony, Sadbhavana Nagar, Vrindavan Nagar.

(C) Thursday, January 18, 2024 – NANDANVAN [Rajeev Gandhi] ESR:
Bapu Nagar, Bhande Plot, Sindhi Bani, Tajbagh, Gurudev Nagar, Santhoshi Mata Nagar, Prem Nagar, Aulia Nagar.

During the tank cleaning period, there will be no water supply in these affected areas, and the water tanker service will also be temporarily unavailable. Residents are kindly requested to make necessary arrangements for temporary water storage in advance to minimize inconvenience during this essential maintenance activity.

NMC-OCW has appealed to citizens from the above-mentioned affected areas and appreciates the cooperation and understanding of the residents during this period. The corporation is committed to ensuring the continued supply of clean and safe drinking water to the citizens of Nagpur and values the cooperation and understanding of the residents during this period.
