Nestle CEO says Maggi noodles in India safe for consumption

Mumbai/Nagpur:Nestle CEO on Friday defended the brand and said Maggi noodles in India is safe for consumption.

“Maggi Noodles in India are safe for consumption, we have same quality standards everywhere in the world, ” CEO Paul Bulcke said while addressing the press conference in Mumbai.

“Maggi noodles withdrawn from market due to confusion as consumer trust was shaken,” Nestle global CEO said.

“We do not add MSG in Maggi Noodles,” Bulcke said. “We have been carrying tests on Maggi noodles on multiple batches,” Bulcke said.

“All results that came out indicate that Maggi noodles are safe for consumption,” Bulcke said.
