Nagpur: In a momentous announcement on the eve of Republic Day, the Central Government has bestowed the prestigious Padma Shri award upon Dr. Chandrashekhar Meshram, a distinguished neurologist renowned for his invaluable contributions to the field of medicine. The recognition underscores Dr. Meshram’s global standing in neurology, particularly for his significant impact in Nagpur.
Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis personally conveyed his congratulations to Dr. Meshram during a visit to the doctor’s residence following the official announcement. This accolade is part of a broader recognition effort, with the Central Government honoring 110 individuals with the Padma Shri, 17 with Padma Bhushan, and five with Padma Vibhushan.
