Nagpur: For the first time in the history of cooperative banking sector, the new body of boards of directors of Shikshak Sahakari Bank (SSB) Limited, a leading scheduled bank in Vidarbha, was elected unopposed for a period of five years,from 2015 to 2020.
All candidates belonging the panel of Anil Sole, chairman of the bank, were elected to the board of directors, as announced by the election officer and district deputy registrar Satish Bhosale. Bank’s vice president Anil Mule is also elected unopposed.
The elected members in the board of directors include Anil Sole (chairman), Annaji Mendjoge, Prabhakar Chendge, Madhav Nerkar, Anil Mule, Praveen Datke (NMC Mayor), Sunil Patil, Shyamsunder Vaidya, Bholanath Sahare and Ranjeet Shriramwar, Sanjay Narke and Ravindra Chinchwad (expert directors), TalaramMeshram (SC and ST electorate), Yogeshwar Bun (OBC), Kalpana Pande and Padmaja Nerugaonkar (Women reserved electorate).
Those who worked hard in the election process included SSB officials and employees. All of them have greeted the new body, said SSB CEO Pradeep Dixit.
